Caterpillar to Butterfly
We made this for father's day last year. We go through lots of milk cartons and get lots of lids. I keep collecting them and came up with this idea for father's day.
Things needed for this activity:
-milk carton lids
-construction paper
-sharpie
Let the child color a bunch of lids. Once its dry, glue it to a paper. Cut up some construction paper to make the butterfly. Draw the eyes and antennae with a sharpie.
My husband was not particularly happy about being compared to a butterfly but he had to admit it was very cute and my son learned about metamorphosis from it :)
