As we are getting closer to Valentine's Day, we have started making valentine's day crafts. This is one of the first ones. We are using three different colors to teach patterns and using a stapler makes my son feel like a big boy. If you have a litter older child, you can ask them to help cut the paper into strips.
Things needed for this activity:
-3 different color construction paper (we used red, pink and white)
-scissors
-stapler
Cut the paper into small strips, about 2 inch wide.
Start stapling.
Start a pattern and ask the child to help you choose which one goes next.
Hang it up near the fireplace or on the windows
